Pros and cons of the US health care system and Universal health care system


US health care system:

Pros
·      Insurance is provided for everyone.
·      Medicaid/Medicare.
·      Safety regulations
·      Choose the type of your health insurance.
·      Patient privacy.
·      Emergency treatment-people can’t be turned away.
Cons
·      Doctors, hospitals and other medical providers are rewarded for doing more, not for being efficient.
·      US residents are getting old, sick and over weight.
·      We always want new technologies, services, and procedures.
·      We get tax breaks for buying health insurance.
·      Hospitals and other providers are gaining market share and are able to demand higher prices.
·      We have supply and demand problems; complicate efforts to slow spending.


Universal health care:

Pros
·      Unlimited access to health care
·      Increased efficiency and decreased medical errors
·      Affordable
·      Care will be extended
·      Medical costs will be cheaper
 Cons
·      Quality of care will be low
·      Funding falls to the taxpayers
·      Lack of competition
·      Taxes would be raised
·      Private insurance companies are not permitted
·      Longer wait times

#5- Hitler is using the men bowing before him (leaders of democracy) as stepping stones to get appeasement (avoid going to war). He is walking with his head held high because he has the control and he will do whatever it takes to get to the top. Hitler is the one who makes the rules and regulations.

Believed people had rights that should be protected by the government.

Obama- Dictator or not?

No, I don't think Obama is going to become a dictator because he has made the US' economy better in terms of unemployment, he doesn't try to control the media, and he doesn't use schools to spread ideas. Obama doesn't try to take away our freedom or our freedom of speech. He didn't develop a scapegoat and he does not use propaganda. He doesn't have the qualities of a dictator.
